Statement
Photography allows me to see the world in a different light.
My name is Chaoyi Chen and I am an artist and photographer currently living in Baltimore.
My work is all about perspective, a perspective that is both a physical one and a way of seeing the world. For me, viewing is both a right and a power, and we often don't realize it. In this age, we all live in a cocoon of information, like frogs at the bottom of a well, viewing the world through a given perspective day in and day out. I hope my work can cut a small hole in this thick cocoon and allow different perspectives to be shared through my work.
