Statement

Isaac is a designer and social entrepreneur from Ogden, Utah. After spending the last half-decade since graduating college running a social enterprise to address food waste and create income opportunities for families facing crisis.  

Now with his MASD capstone, Isaac hopes to address the opioid crisis in his community. Ogden shows the second-highest drug poisoning/overdose rate in the state of Utah. So public health is currently engaged in a 5-year initiative to address the overdose crisis. Isaac is applying community engagement and Human-Centered Design to explore new opportunities for interventions.

Social Design (MA) Students
