Statement

Throughout the past year, I have dedicated my work to the exploration and destruction of bodies. As a nonbinary Arab-American, my body is a frequent subject of debate; I am frequently faced with arguments that my body doesn’t exist, that it doesn’t have the right to exist, or that it may only exist within certain parameters. Living in a contested body has generated a morbid fascination with how a body is put together, and how I can tell stories through taking one apart.

My senior thesis is a game called That Which Faith Demands. It is an interactive fiction game about scavengers taking apart a giant robot made from the body of a god. Music & sound design by Austin M.
