Statement

As a painter, I am fascinated by modern technology, geometric forms, and the precision of the structures that always draw my eye and inspire me to create new works. The human body is also a precise structure, even more so than machines. My current work is about creating the perfect woman, from analyzing the data at the beginning, creating the parts, and finally putting it all together to create a perfect artificial human being.

I hope that I will never stop studying painting. My process is to create a model of the scene in 3dMax, render it in software, print it out as a sketch, and hand-color the scene with gouache. I also add materials and light sources to the model, Photoshop the rendering and gouache together, and then Photoshop the details. I use 3dMax because I want to use the techniques I've learned recently in my work. Before I learned this 3d program, I struggled with how to draw the scene and how to create something different from what I had done before. So I went to learn 3dMax, which I had never studied before, I hoped that it would give me new inspiration for my art. This software gives me a different experience than the traditional way of painting. Of course, so I don’t lose my analog l technique, I mixed my past techniques with my newly acquired digital skills. This adds the pattern and rhythm in my work to add interest to the composition.

As a teacher, I hope to improve my skills and learn more skills to help my students. I feel that sometimes education is mass-producing students, but my artwork still has a unique individual in the image within the patterns. I hope that I can teach a group of good students and, at the same time, allow them to develop their personalities and become perfect beings.
