Lucas Taurins ’22 (Fiber BFA)'s work consists mostly of crochet and knit garments, specifically sweaters, each with their own unique, silly story to tell. Yarn & Camp strays away from the norms of high fashion; Each piece prioritizes humor, chaos and above all, fun. As someone with ADHD, I experience sensory overload in the presence of overlapping sounds, smells, and colors, however when I work with yarn, especially knit and crochet, it immediately begins to alleviate that overwhelming feeling.
