April 29 Campus Memo

Details about Summer 2020 Open Studies programs.

Dear MICA students, faculty and staff,

Following a comprehensive review of MICA's capacity to open the campus for summer 2020 it has been determined that it will not be possible to return to regular on-campus programming at this time and that all regularly scheduled on campus programs and activities will be suspended for the summer term.

All on campus Open Studies programs will either be cancelled or will be delivered by remote and alternative means.

In addition, the MFAST Summer Low Residency Program will not take place on campus, and will be shifted to distance and alternative methods for summer 2020, theAlfred and Trafford Klots International Program for Artists in Léhon France is being conditionally rescheduled to September and October of this year, and the Summer Travel Intensives and the International Student Cultural Orientation Program (ISCOP) have been cancelled.

  • Art and Design College Accelerator Program (ADCAP)

  • Young People's Studios (YPS)
