2022/23 Fulbright U.S. Student Program grant cycle

* Currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate MICA students MUST apply through MICA

* Remote Alumni (up to 8 years from graduation) may apply through MICA

* MICA deadlines supersede National Fulbright deadlines

Timeline

By June 15, 2022:

Meet with MICA Fulbright Program Adviser (FPA), Erin Treacy

Meeting can be in person, via Skype/Google, or by phone

June – July:

Weekly Tips email sent. Meet with FPA regularly

June - July:  

Create a draft of your project proposal and personal statement – email it to Erin

Correspond with your Affiliation(s), and work towards obtaining letter(s) of support

June - July:

Request Letters Reference and obtain a language evaluation (if applicable)

Due Monday July 11:

Solid drafts of Proposal (2 pages) and Personal Statement (1 page) 

Due Monday July 25:

Second Drafts Due - Revised Proposal and Personal Statement

Throughout July & August continue to revise Proposal and Personal Statement

Friday August 12th:

Mandatory Meeting on campus: with Fulbright Alumni·     

Monday August 29, 2022:

Application Due for all students/alumni applying through MICA.

Submit Written Application online, including three Letters of Recommendation, Foreign Language Evaluations, Letter(s) of Affiliation, and Transcripts
