Statement
I like art as a place/pursuit of freedom.
I make work to explore.
There is space between the set of feelings and concepts that can be conveyed in language and image and all the concepts and feelings i can sense. This is why i make art, so i can be in zones in which conversation can develop. I work with movement and sound because they feel true/varied/inimitable.
My 16+ years of training (education) in the american system and the english language has taught me one way to think, to get through the world, I am feeling around for more ways.
Truth telling.
In the vast functioning of language, i do want to state my truth.
I sense there are things and speeds which will never translate.
I will keep trying to describe what i perceive
finding a reality,
that feels good for others,
that feels good for me.
