Eleni Marinos is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Lancaster, Pa. She grew up watching cartoons, running around in fields with her brothers, and was raised in the Greek Orthodox Church, all critical components in her work. Once grown, Eleni became a very suspicious woman and decided to pursue her curiosity at the Maryland Institute College of Art. There she utilized obnoxiously colorful sets, humanoid characters, religious motifs, and dream fragments to investigate reality, purpose, and everything beyond the tangible.
