Statement

Stevie Gerakines is a transgender illustrator and former emo kid from Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2020 with a BFA in Illustration. His interests range from death metal to entomology, tabletop RPGS, and Furbys, along with a passion for quirky cartooning and fantasy storytelling. He aims to create characters with depth and nuance that can be enjoyed universally, but that resonate especially with the LGBTQ experience.
