The Joyce Harriet Weisman Margolis Scholarship Endowment was established by Frank Margolis PhD in memory of his wife, Joyce, to provide tuition support for qualified students from all backgrounds to have the opportunity to receive their education from MICA regardless of their financial constraints.

The Joseph J. Costa, MD and Janet F. Scholes Memorial Scholarship Endowment was established by David Hart, husband of Joe and son of Janet, to honor their legacy. The scholarship will create a tremendous opportunity for talented and deserving students from Maryland with financial need to enroll, attend and thrive at MICA.
David and Joe were married for over 27 years when Joe, a highly-recognized doctor at Mercy died of complications from COVID-19.
