Amy Cesal is a data visualization designer and instructor. She co-founded the Data Visualization Society, where she serves as a board member. 

Amy’s innovative and unusual data visualization work has garnered her three Information is Beautiful Awards. Amy specializes in working with subject matter experts to design accessible and legible visualizations of complex data across domains. She holds a Master's Degree in Information Visualization from the Maryland Institute College of Art. 

Amy is a leader in the use of data visualization style guidelines as part of broader design systems, and writes and speaks on the topic.
