Canvas offers various methods for creating backups and preserving copies of your course content. Please consider the following approaches mentioned in this memo (5/26/23). 

The Commons is a learning object repository within Canvas that enables faculty to find, import, and share resources with one another. C/TIE has created and continues to produce many different kinds of templates that you can import into your course.
