Center for Student Engagement

The Center for Student Engagement is home to more than 30 student organizations, the Student Voice Association (MICA’s student government), Orientation, and a variety of programs and activities to keep students involved on campus.

Available Positions:

Program Manager (PM)

Program Managers serve as committee chairs of the MICA Program Board. They plan and implement programs for the student body and campus community, including Halloween Party and Last Blast.

Program Director (PD)

Program Directors hold the primary leadership position within the MICA Program Board (MPB), providing direct mentorship and oversight to the MPB committee chairs, and guiding the overall vision, strategy, and direction of MPB.

Orientation Leader (OL)

Orientation Leaders (OLs) facilitate Orientation for first year and transfer students in fall and spring.

Student Orientation Director (SOD)

Student Orientation Director (SOD) assists in planning and executing Orientation Leader Training and Fall Orientation, and co-supervises 15-25 Orientation Leaders.

France-Merrick Fellow (FMF)

The France-Merrick Fellowship is an advanced community-centered leadership opportunity offered to students inside of the Community Arts and Service (CAS), an initiative hosted inside of MICA’s Center for Student Engagement.
