Graphic Design as an area of concentration is increasingly enticing students from various majors, as there are many useful overlapping features. A studio minor in Graphic Design, regardless of major, encourages the power to think conceptually and apply technical skills in all forms of design practice.

Courses outlined in the graphic design minor will offer students a basic understanding of design processes, principles, and typography. Students interested in Graphic Design as a minor should consider declare it in the first semester of the sophomore year."
