Printmaking (Major)

Kyle Van Horn

Kyle Van Horn is the co-owner and founder of Baltimore Print Studios, Baltimore's only public-access screen and letterpress printmaking studio.

He received his BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2003, with a Major in Painting and a Concentration in Printmaking and Book Arts. He attended the Aix-en-Provence study abroad program through MICA in spring of 2002. While in school he founded his first small-publications and fine printing company called Three Bunny Press.

Baltimore Print Studios offers hourly access and one-day workshops in screenprinting and letterpress, allowing the city's artists, designers, and recent graduates a place to produce work.

Kyle Van Horn is currently the shop Technician and Administrative Assistant for the Printmaking Dept. at MICA. He also works as Adjunct Faculty, teaching letterpress and book arts.
