Brewer's Art (Mount Vernon)
Another option in walking distance from MICA's campus is Brewer's Art, a brewery and restaurant located in an early 20th century townhouse. In operation since 1996, it's a destination for well-crafted beers and outstanding cuisine in a unique and relaxing atmosphere.  It's a great place to share plates, especially their rosemary garlic fries, served the Belgian way—with mayonaise!

Koopers Tavern (Fell’s Point)
Looking for a place that satisfies both seafood lovers and non seafood eaters alike? Check out this restaurant that features build-your-own burgers taken to the next level, plus oysters, crab dip, salmon BLTs and more.

Union Collective (Hampden)
Union Craft Brewing, located in Union Collective, features multiple types of beer plus tasty treats like popcorn, soft pretzels and pizzas from Well Crafted Kitchen. Grab a glass and a snack and hang out either inside, or on the patio, which features a mural from two MICA grads! The collective is home to multiple businesses, like Vent Coffee Roasters, Baltimore Spirits Company, and Wine Collective.

Golden West Cafe (Hampden)
For more than 20 years, Golden West Cafe has called two different venues in Hampden’s The Avenue home, serving Americana cuisine and Southwest comfort food, rooted in traditional New Mexican specialties.

Ekiben (Fells Point)
Home to continually top ranked and nominated Asian Fusion cuisine, Ekiben features options like sandwiches on bao buns and rice bowls, plus tempura broccoli and pickled veggie sides.

Ministry of Brewing (Upper Fells Point)
Former church turned brewery, the Ministry of Brewing offers a chance to grab some drinks, while taking in breathtakingly restored historic architecture.

Miss Shirley’s Cafe (Inner Harbor, Roland Park)
Serving all-day breakfast, brunch and lunch, Miss Shirley’s is a Baltimore staple—with two locations within city limits—featuring food with southern influence but fresh Maryland ingredients. They’ve got breakfast standards from pancakes and eggs to more extravagant options such as chicken with cheddar green onion waffles.

Johnny Rads (Fells Point)
This vegan and vegetarian forward restaurant snuggled in Upper Fells Point and just a few blocks from Patterson Park serves pizza, sandwiches, salads and more.

Sammy’s Trattoria (Midtown/Belvedere)
For 15 years, this Baltimore restaurant has been serving Italian food from duck ravioli to carbonara to black truffle wild mushroom risotto and more. Even the late U.S. Representative Elijah Cummings frequented Sammy’s, and was particularly a fan of the meatballs.
