Printing and Scanning at Decker Library

Printing

Decker Library offers printing to the MICA community from select computers on the lower level of the library.  The library does not take payment for printing. All payment for printing is processed automatically by MICA's print management system.

Printing is not available to the public. Postal & Print Services in Bunting Center offers printing to the public.

How to Print within Decker Library

  • From Select Library Computers: Three Mac computers and one PC on the lower level have been designated as computers from which you can print your document. Log in with your MICA username and password and send your print job to the Xerox Versalink printer.
  • Assistance: If you need help, please ask at either the Research Help desk (lower level) or the Access Services desk (upper level).

Usage Guidelines

  • Paper: Our printers use our paper only. Please do not bring your own.
  • Size Limitations: Printers are capable of 8.5 x 11-inch printouts only.
  • No Transparent Paper: We cannot print on transparent paper.
  • Large Volume: For large volume printing, use Postal & Print services, located in Bunting Center on the first floor.
  • Studio Assignments: For studio assignments, please use the Art Tech Center.

Scanning

The Library photocopier, located on the lower level, offers scanning capabilities free of charge. Scans can be sent directly to a MICA email address. Directions on how to use the scanner are provided at the photocopier.
