Her work explores communication and non-communication in written, spoken, and pictorial language. Ursula West Minervini and Jonathon Poliszuk are co-owners of Pellinore Press, a letterpress, woodcut, and book arts studio. Minervini earned her BFA in Printmaking from MICA and her MFA in Printmaking and Graphic Design from Towson University. She teaches as Adjunct Faculty in Printmaking and Open Studies at MICA.
