CSLs participate at various levels of hourly commitments per semester and are provided space to process and reflect on their experiences outside of MICA, as well as opportunities for continued professional and personal development with the expectation that they will utilize this learning out in the community. CSLs are recruited annually, trained for the position, and then facilitate weekly art sessions or various programming at the site where they are placed.

Community Site Leaders with MICA worked hard during the Spring 2024 term to build connections, serve at local organizations, and thrive with the City of Baltimore. Here are some reflections from our 2024 Community Site Leaders:
