Statement
#friendzoned is a real-time, GPS based mobile app that facilitates meeting/engaging with individuals in your physical proximity over shared hobbies, goals, community, and yes, friendship. It's a tool that especially needed in this "post"-COVID world of epidemic loneliness, but goes beyond that challenging and disrupting the idea that creating intimate relationships with people as an adult = dating, while simultaneously uplifting the needs & concerns of the LGBTQIA, neurodivergent, and differently abled communities.
